Getting More Online Reviews Could Be The Resolution That Pays Off The Most

Whether you’re looking for a last-minute gift for a valued partner or need an idea for a 2020 resolution, an online review can be the answer to both tasks. That’s why we’re devoting the last Premier Title Agency blog of 2019 to this important topic.

Think about it. People use the internet for everything these days, and we all know that real estate is about relationships and referrals. Potential customers are Googling you and glancing through your social media accounts every day, so having your pages full of positive customer testimonials will help build trust even before they talk to you.

Just how much trust? Research shows that 85% of people trust online reviews as much as a friend’s personal recommendation. If you haven’t been asking for reviews before now, it might seem weird to start. However, think about how many times you’re asked to review something in your everyday life. The modern customer expects to be asked and plenty of them go ahead and do it.

How do you get started building your online review portfolio? Here are some tips and tricks from your friendly Premier Title experts that can get you started on the path to becoming a review star.

1.    Ask about the customer experience first. If someone didn’t have the best experience, you don’t want them to write a review before you can solve their problems. Address concerns directly and in person – before you get a bad rating.
2.    Make the process easy. There are a handful of platforms where you can ask for a review (Google, Facebook, Yelp among others). You can ask them face-to-face or by following up on Facebook or with an email. Just make sure that it’s simple (and provide a link if making the request electronically).
3.    Seek reviews at the right time. There are distinct moments in your customers’ journey that are best when it comes to asking for a review. Examples: After they say something good about your team or when you send them a housewarming gift.

You already have customers who love you. 2020 is the year to let them help you bring in new business. Establish a review-getting routine and stick with it. We can’t wait to see all the great ratings that start to pour in for you. If you found this advice useful, we’d love for you to share your love of the Premier Title team with a Facebook recommendation or a Google review for your local PTA office.
